MFW Vacation Rentals is an operating unit of Mendocino Food & Wine Ventures LLC. Cheryl Quist began vacation renting Cheryl’s House in 1991 as a way to help her cover the cost of owning her first vacation home in Mendocino. At the time she was working in high tech and splitting her time between Boston and the Bay Area. Cheryl now manages several vacation rental properties, is a freelance wine writer, and develops food & wine fundraising events for charitable organizations in northern California. Her long range goal is to combine lodging with food and wine-related events and cooking classes in an effort to help travelers from the Bay Area and beyond discover the joys and bounty of Mendocino.
